Access to ES re-established

With the initial release of Macola ES Batch 360 in November 2005, several performance issues with Crystal V10 were identified. When that happened, Exact Software pulled the access to this release, to minimize the number of customers affected.
Since then, Exact has been working with the Business Objects Research and Development team to resolve all of those issues. In mid-February, Exact announced that significant performance improvements on all key Crystal Reports had been confirmed by the users operating on ES360.
Corrections needed for other, less critical reports, continue to be made. Because the key report issues have been resolved, Exact has posted the release notes for these new product versions, and instructions for updating, on the Customer, Business Partner and Employee Portals.

Support for Windows 98 extended

Microsoft had originally scheduled Windows 98 Second Edition support to end on January 16, 2004.
However, continual evaluation of the Support Lifecycle policy revealed that customers in the smaller and the emerging markets needed additional time to upgrade their product. Therefore, Windows 98 Second Edition will continue to be supported until June 30, 2006. As a result, Exact Software will extend the support of the Progression application running on the Windows 98 Second Edition platform until June 30, 2006.

  • Crystal Report
Can anyone please tell me what I need to do to have a crystal report that shows me the "Before" and "After" changes made in the Standard Costing pkg? I want to show a report similar to Macola's "Cost Master Audit Trail" report. I believe I need to use "SCCSTAUD_SQL.btr" file. But I'm not sure what combination of fields and/or criteria to enter to show me what I want. Basically I want to see what the Standard Cost for all part numbers are and was before we rolled the last cost to standard cost at year end.

  • System Accounts marked incorrectly
Hi! I am hoping someone can help me. We have 3 accounts that were setup incorrectly. Specifically, they are "balance sheet" accounts that were marked in the system account setup as "profit & loss" accounts. So, of course, during final year end process, the balances did not "balance forward" for these 3 accounts. I think I can just do a one-sided journal entry to enter the balance forward, but I want to double-check with anyone that has gone through this and has an alternative fix.

  • reg_db_failed
I am having a problem while installing macola 7.6.200 on an xp computer at the end of the install the error is "string reg_db_failed" can someone help with this error.

  • ER-Description for Macola MS SQL
We are a software company in Germany and we work for a Macola customer in the US. Our customer runs Macola on MS-SQL. To develop some interfaces we need a complete description of all tables or at least a description of what table contents what data. The table names are not really built in a way that you know what might be in, when you look at it. Maybe somebody can send me some info where to get a table description.
